Welcome to the Dudley Arts Council web site.
We are one of, if not the oldest arts council in the country, founded in 1946.
Dudley Arts Council is a registered charity, run on a voluntary basis to foster and promote the maintenance, improvement and development of artistic taste and the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, including intercultural activities across Dudley, the Black Country and the West Midlands.

Members
We currently have over 80 members from a wide range of arts backgrounds from Choirs to Photography clubs, Artists to Operatic Societies. Members can benefit from the many training opportunities available to them through Dudley Arts Council, they can publicise forthcoming events on this website, and they also receive a monthly e-newsletter full of useful information.
Membership of Dudley Arts Council is FREE to any arts organisation who works in or around the Dudley area. Just complete our online membership form and a member of the Executive Committee will get in touch.

We are neither part of Dudley M.B.C. or the Arts Council England, although we do work very closely withDudley M.B.C. on partnerships.
We work in collaboration with our members, colleges, venue managers and members of Dudley M.B.C. so that no member is disadvantaged, we run an equal opportunities organisation.
